In 1999, Martin Goldsbrough and Michael Tarnoff envisioned their ideal engineering firm: small, with high quality service and excellent client communication. For a year they worked on honing their vision, incorporating in 2000. Land Development Solutions, Inc., in Novato, California, is a full-service firm with two principals and a hands-on, personalized approach to every project. In a few short years LDSI has grown by leaps and bounds, yet retained its intimate approach. The firm has added outside engineering consultants and surveyors to handle their many referrals, and in October, 2006, the firm opened a second office in Petaluma. LDSI remains true to its vision: to provide high-quality civil engineering with an emphasis on customer service, keep its project teams small, and continue to build relationships with local agencies to better serve clients and the northern California community.
